Scottish indie four-piece The View have confirmed to play the main stage on Saturday 4th Sept.
The band shot to fame after the release of their debut album Hats Off to the Buskers, which reached number one in the charts, was nominated for the 2007 Mercury Prize, and featured the single ‘Wasted Little DJs’ which charted at number 3. The band have become one of Britain’s favourite indie acts in recent years with their catchy pop-rock drawing comparisons to The Kooks and Arctic Monkeys and making them the perfect festival act; in recent years they have gigged at some of the biggest events around including Reading, V and Isle of Wight festivals. Having performed live sessions on BBC Radio, at Radio One’s Big Day Out and on Later With Jools Holland, they are a huge addition to a line up brimming with big names.
