Female fronted funk rock group, Bones will open the Jersey Live music festival main stage…
Bones beat nine other acts in the 2010 Jersey Live Battle of the Bands in association with Studio Jam. As well as opening the main stage, Bones will get a days recording session at Jersey Rock Studios with producer Sam Falle. Singer Annie Law loved the experience, saying: “I’ve never got into it so much in my life, it was so good.”
The runner up was Pirate Video Company who will play the Les InRocks Magic stage and get a days recording.
All ten acts that played on Saturday night will perform on one of the festivals five stages over the weekend:
Kevin Pallot & The Pinnacles, Isaac Evans and Hip Hoperation will play the Hospitality stage.
The Bloody Battle, The Hype and Brave Yesterday will all play the Wild West Tease Stage.
Electro duo Brobots! and ganster rap act Ed & BJ will play in the Dance Arena.
The Guernsey Live Battle of the Bands took place earlier this month, with Last of the Light Brigade winning a place on the Jersey Live Main Stage, and runners up Gay Army winning a slot on the Les InRocks Magic Stage.
