EUROPE’S GREATEST BOUTIQUE FESTIVAL RETURNS …

Following last year’s sell-out festival at Trinity’s Royal Jersey Showground, Jersey Live, sponsored by Jersey Telecoms, returns for its seventh edition, which promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The festival has previously featured many great artists including The Prodigy, Kasabian, Razorlight, Dizzee Rascal, The Kooks, Snow Patrol, Basement Jaxx, 2manydjs and many more.

With five stages set in the quaint countryside surrounds of the parish of Trinity, and on the southernmost point of the British Isles – with some of Europe’s most stunning beaches – Jersey Live is positioned in one of the most idyllic settings imaginable. With a distinctly Anglo-Gallic flavour to the island and its 90,000+  inhabitants, Jersey offers a unique environment and Jersey Live the unique destination festival experience.

Jersey Live Festival takes place at the Royal Jersey Showground, Jersey on 4th and 5th September 2010.  The Jersey Live billing is already packed with some of the biggest names in music. Saturday Night’s Main Stage Headliner is the mighty GROOVE ARMADA, who bring their huge back catalogue of hits and fantasy laser show with to amaze the Jersey Live crowd. The Main Stage headliner on the Sunday night is non other than the ‘Modfather’ himself, PAUL WELLER. The former Jam and Style Council front man released his tenth solo album in April Wake up the Nation, which hit number two in the album charts. Paul Weller was also crowned with the ‘Godlike Genius’ award at the NME Awards earlier this year, following the likes of U2, New Order, Ian Brown and Ozzy Osbourne, previous winners of the award.
