Gates
Jersey Live Festival opening and closing hours are Midday – Midnight on Saturday and Midday to 11.00pm on Sunday. Music Finishes at 11.30pm Saturday and 10.30pm Sunday on the Main Stage and at Midnight on Saturday and 11.00pm on Sunday in the Dance Arena.
Tickets
Please read the conditions on the reverse of your festival ticket. Upon entry, please have your ticket and photo ID (essential) ready for inspection. ID is essential as proof of age for 18yrs and over or 12 years and under. A wristband will be given in exchange for a portion of your festival ticket. Please retain your other ticket portion as re-entry is not possible without it. Please ensure your wristband is not damaged or removed until the festival has finished on Sunday night! Without a valid wristband and ticket portion, entry onto site is not permitted. Last entry on to site is 8.30pm each day.
Children
Children 12 yrs & below need a valid festival ticket (£5 per day, proceeds go to a local children’s charity). Children 12 yrs & below are not permitted in to Dance Arena. The lost child point is located at the St Johns Ambulance First Aid Area. It is recommended not to bring children 5 years & under to the festival as their hearing is under-developed & amplified music could potentially cause damage.
Prohibited
Alcoholic, non-alcoholic drinks & water are prohibited as a control measure to eliminate persons from bringing alcohol onto site. The festival site is a fully licensed premise’s with plenty of bars serving alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks. A FREE bottle of water is available upon request at the gate entry point.
* Jersey Live Festival operates a strict NO GLASS policy (please, no perfume bottles or make up mirrors!).
* No umbrellas, tents, chairs (all deemed an obstruction), bottles, cans, containers or food are allowed into site.
Illegal Substances
Please Do not attempt to bring illegal substances on site as you stand a very real chance of being caught and subsequently arrested. The same applies to anything that is deemed to be an offensive weapon.
Food & Beverages
Food is not to be brought into site. There are plenty of catering outlets offering a fine array of tasteful delights & refreshments onsite.
All festival caterer’s are fully insured and registered with the States of Jersey Public Health Service.
People do not have to be 18 years to attend the festival, however they must be 18 years or over to purchase alcoholic drinks. It is essential to bring photo ID as proof of age. If proof of age cannot be provided when requested by a member of bar staff, it will not be possible to purchase alcoholic drinks.
Drinking Responsibly
Alcohol dehydrates!! If drinking alcoholic drinks, Please ensure you do so responsibly. Pace yourself and top up throughout the day with plenty of water or soft drinks. Please visit www.drinkaware.co.uk for more information. Do not drink and drive, it endangers the lives of yourself and others and you risk losing your licence!
The festival organisers strongly recommend that people attending the festival, use the festival shuttle coach service in preference to driving. This will also help Jersey Live work towards reducing Carbon emissions!
Litter
Please be mindful not to create litter! There are plenty of bins provided on site, so please use them! Please respect The Royal Jersey Showground and keep it tidy. Recycling bins are also provided and we strongly urge that support is given to the on-site recycling program. Please respect the areas surrounding the festival site and use bins at all times to dispose of any litter.
Toilets
Toilets are positioned in different areas around the festival site. They are cleaned and emptied throughout each day. Please ensure to respect people using the toilet after you by keeping it clean.
Lost Property
Lost Property can be found at the Festival Merchandise Tent. Any lost property remaining after the festival will be taken to the Police headquarters at Rouge Bouillion, St Helier by noon on Monday 6th Sept. Please hand in any lost property to the Festival Merchandise Tent.
Conduct
Please be advised that CCTV cameras are in operation around the festival site. Unsociable behaviour will not be tolerated and it will result in eviction from the site. Anyone attempting to throw projectiles will be arrested immediately and prosecuted. Please respect other festival attendees and security marshalls.
Weather & Sound
Beware of prolonged exposure to the SUN. Use UV protective sun cream! Please be aware prolonged exposure to amplified sound may cause permanent hearing damage.
Disabled Customers
The festival site allows easy access to all areas. Guide dogs for the blind and/or deaf are the only animals permitted onto the festival site. There are disabled toilets on site placed near the central building.
Coach & Bus Travel Information
The festival shuttle coach service runs round trips to the festival site from Peoples Park in St. Helier. Running times are on the hour and every fifteen minutes thereafter from 11.30am until 7.30pm on Saturday and 11.30am until 6.30pm on Sunday. Return Coach trip begins at 9.30pm on Saturday and 8.30pm on Sunday from the coach point at Rue Au Sellier (see map) in Trinity.
Tickets are £5 return, per day, available (in advance) from www.jerseylive.org.uk & the Jersey Telecom Shop, King St, St Helier. Only pre paid tickets are accepted for travel.
Check with the local bus company ‘Connex’ for route 4 and 5 Service that runs to and from Trinity. For enquires, call Connex direct on 01534 877772. It is best to arrange your journey home prior to coming on site, purchase festival coach shuttle tickets, check bus times, taxi services etc and ensure to leave in plenty of time to get home safely.
Directions
If by car, from St.Helier, proceed up Trinity Hill on La Route de la Trinite (A8) to Trinity School. A temporary speed limit is in effect for pedestrian safety. Festival traffic Police will direct you to the designated festival parking area. Festival Stewards will direct you to the pedestrian entrance at the festival site. Public entry will be through the Royal Jersey Showground main gate entrance. Please refer to the map overleaf for further information on pedestrian and traffic flow.

Vehicle Parking
Follow the festival parking signs en route to the festival site. Arrive early to guarantee a parking space. There is parking for 900 vehicles only. It is advised that a designated non-alcohol drinking driver takes responsibility to ensure passengers a safe journey home at the end of the evening. Vehicles must not remain in the festival car park from the Monday 6th Sept. Organisers accept no responsibility for any theft or damage to vehicles whilst parked in the assigned areas. The Car Park is open from 11am each festival day.
The Neighbours
The Organisers are extremely privileged to be able to use The Royal Jersey Showground in Trinity to host Jersey Live Festival and would like to continue to do so year after year. Your help is needed to keep the local community happy. Please ensure you leave the site quietly at all times. Do not litter the lanes. Do not park vehicles in any of the neighboring lanes. Apart from causing an annoyance to the local residents, you will be towed away by local authority representatives. There are temporary road restrictions surrounding the festival site for the festival weekend. Please follow the plan and ensure you park in the festival parking area.
Camping
There is no camping available at the festival as yet. Security will carry out a sweep of the parish to remove persons that should not be there. There are registered island campsites available, please contact Jersey Tourism for more information on local campsites, guest houses & hotels. Tel: 01534 448800. Non Channel Island visitors should ensure they have full travel & medical insurance in place.
